Beaufort Completes Two Bristol Residential Development Projects
Beaufort is delighted to announce the completion of a mezzanine investment to City & Country, the UK’s leading developer of heritage properties. The facility will support two of City & Country’s prestige developments in Bristol; The General and Factory No.1.
The General is a multiple-award winning development of 205 residential units and four commercial units at the former general hospital in the centre of Bristol. Originally opened in 1858, the hospital finally closed its doors in 2012.
City & Country has set about a painstaking renovation and conversion of the property, setting new record prices for the local market with the first two phases of the development. The property also boasts a Michelin starred restaurant on the ground floor.
Factory No.1 is a former tobacco factory located on the main thoroughfare of Bedminster, a stone’s throw from the centre of Bristol. The development will consist of a range of 247 one, two and three bedroom apartments across converted and new-build elements. City & Country hope to launch the development in the second half of 2018.
