Paul Norman

Partner

During his career Paul has created Townsend Thorensen Properties and Scottish Capital Group, two successful property development companies. He has developed in excess of 3 million sqft of high quality residential and commercial property throughout London and the UK. Paul is a Director of Xenia Management, a high-end residential developer focusing on Belgravia and Knightsbridge that has completed projects with a GDV in excess of £200m.

Tom Pridmore

Partner

Tom has 20 years’ experience in international real estate investment and development. After co-founding the DCM Group in 1998, he established its offices in Turkey, India, North Africa, Eastern Europe and the UK. Tom has acted as principal in real estate transactions in excess of £1.5 billion GDV, through both listed funds and private investment vehicles. In his early career Tom worked as a solicitor at Norton Rose, in the Corporate Finance and Investment Funds team.

Mark Quigley

Managing Director - UK Real Estate Finance

Mark is a highly experienced banker having started his career at Barclays in the mid-eighties. He worked in the Barclays specialist property finance team and during his career has written more than £2bn of property transactions across the UK. Mark has also worked at Titlestone Property Finance and more recently at Contour Capital where he was Managing Director. Mark has an MBA from Sheffield Business School and is a member of the Association of Property Lenders

Joe Flaherty

Director

Joe has fifteen years’ experience in banking having started his career at RBS. Prior to joining Beaufort, Joe spent four years at BLME where he was Associate Director for Real Estate. He has written and managed over £500m worth of lending, across a variety of sectors, such as residential, mixed-use, retirement and student accommodation with a total GDV of over £1.5bn. Joe is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and speaks Spanish and Russian.

Steffan Goold

Director

Steffan joined Beaufort from CapitalRise, a boutique real estate investment fund in London. Prior to this, Steffan held senior positions at both Pluto Finance and BLME, where he focused on the origination, structuring and execution of a wide variety of development transactions. Steffan holds a BSc in Mathematics & Physics from the University of Bath, and is a board member of the Association of Property Lenders.

Simon Le Marquand

Director of Portfolio Management

Simon has over 35 years’ experience in the Construction industry that includes advising property owners and funders on site viability, construction costing and project monitoring with draw-down certification. Prior to joining Beaufort, Simon was head of the Development monitoring team at Cluttons LLP, an international firm of Chartered Surveyors. Simon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Surveyors

Senior Associate

James Goldsmith

Financial Controller

James joined Beaufort from an institutional real estate fund manager where he spent four years working as a finance manager. During this time, he was responsible for fund accounting across a range of real estate structures along with the corporate accounting of the manager itself. Prior to this James spent four years at a leading fund administration firm where he worked on a range of real estate and debt structures domiciled in several offshore jurisdictions. James qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2019.
